All of the plants available here on orchidspecies.co.uk are produced in vitro or from seed. None of the plants are collected from the wild.

Our main source for plants is the Netherlands but we also obtain plants in vitro from Thailand, Malaysia and Taiwan.

All the plants coming in from outside the EU are checked by a plant health inspector from DEFRA before being released from quarantine

You do not need a certificate to purchase or own any of the plants listed on this site
