A miniature species from West Africa with white flowers, best grown in a basket
Renanthera storiei is a large growing species from Philippines. It produces large flowers spikes with up to 100 flowers each in bright red with some orange barring.
Super small Vietnamese orchid with stiff green leaves and produces flower spikes up to 18 inches long with 2.5 inch flowers in scarlet and orange - fabulous shaped flowers!
Sedirea japonica is a small growing species from Japan with glossy dark green leaves, they look a bit like small Phalaenopsis plants.
Flowers are cream/pale green with pink barks on petals and a pink speckled lip. Sedirea japonicas' fragrance is rather like lemon sherbet or mixed citrus but fizzy!
The flower lifespan is usually 3 - 5 weeks from opening to drop but this may depend on temperature i.e. too warm and they dry up quick

Stanhopea eburnea AKA Stanhopea grandiflora produces huge 6 inch flowers that appear from the base of the egg shaped bulbs of this South American species. The flowers are pure white or ivory white and have a wonderful perfume which fills the greenhouse!
A lovely species from Ecuador with bright pink flowers that appear on long pendant flower spikes. Do not remove the flower spikes after the flowers drop unless the stem goes brown as they often flower again on side branches off the old stem - see detailed images Best grown in a basket
Trias intermedia is a miniature orchid from Thailand that has tiny bulbs about the size of a pea! The flowers are around 1/4 inch and pale pink/buff with dark red veining. Best grown mounted and will form a tight clump of bulbs. Good tropical terrarium plant. Supplied as potted clumps of 6 - 8 bulbs.

Trichopilia oicophylax is a species from Peru,Colombia, Ecuador and is a lovely clump forming plant that produces elegant white/cream flowers that have a large lip. The flower almost resembles a cattleya and a Coelogyne. This specimen is growing in a 3 inch hardwood basket
Vandopsis (Hygrochilus) parishii is a species from Thailand and Vietnam. It grows like a Vanda with leathery leaves and beautify 2.5 inch yellow flowers with dark red spots and are FRAGRANT and long lasting. Flower spike is up to 18 inches long with 5+ flowers per spike.
