WARDIAN CASES

Wardian case is generic term given to a tank made to house plants. It's named after Dr Nathaniel Bagshaw Ward (1791–1868), a true old fashoned botanist.

In modern times we call them terrariums and they are now made of modern materials but are effectively the same thing.

We offer these terrariums in various sizes depending on what you intend on growing

This is the largest in the range of tank enclosures and measures 34 inches long x 18 inches deep and 24 inches high and looks fantastic when fully equiped as a mini rainforest
